WOWY – over at Beyond the Box Score

I’ve just posted the next entry in my look at Catcher’s Block Percentage over at Beyond the Box Score.  I’ll be posting there once or twice a week – largely on stats-related work.

I’ll continue to post here, but the topics may shift more towards reactions to news and stories from baseball history rather than stats.

  1. Is the cbp available as a regular stat? I have been talking about this exact stat for a year and believe the info needs to be seen by the general baseball public. It’s a very meaningful metric for both runs allowed and the fear pitchers have in throwing balls near the dirt when runners are on (especially 3rd).
